Assembled with luxurious Italian leather, 3Seven&8’s interchangeable designs incorporate provocative colors and playful lines with bold silhouettes. All of 3S8's designs are inspired by architecture with feminine and organic lines.

Bayarkhuu, the designer of MONGOL, considers herself a citizen of the world and is known for her impeccable sense of style. Six handpicked pieces were selected to show including the Pamela in Blush Beige, Pamela in Softened Black, Babette in Big Apple Acid, Babette in Softened Black, Lea in Softened Black, and the Lea in Dazzling Dark. These pieces fashioned the perfect synergy between the brands.

Making his New York Fashion Week debut, Designer and Creative Director of 3Seven&8 Christopher Belt says, “I wanted the attendees to recognize a number of the iconic details that 3S8 presents in each collection. One of those is the inspiration drawn from Art Nouveau architecture. This includes our classic "Mosaico" quilting and the use of tassels. Our innovative tamper-proof envelope design adds an additional layer of security. Bags with this feature include "Pamela" and "Babette." Both have our hand detailed "trapunto", which evokes the desire to touch the bags.”

No matter what the occasion or situation, the versatility of 3S8 handbags will serve the purpose of beauty and utility. The handbags have tassels, straps, and snake chains that can all be customized to the carrier's purpose.
Known for its dramatic silhouettes, signature detail, and classic innovation, 3Seven&8 is inspired by all of the brilliant and driven women in Belt's life who have always longed for a product that epitomizes both empowerment and glamor.

COLLEZIONI confirms Yellow brights and Color Blocking Popular for SS15

Papa Ndiaye

COLLEZIONI's "Color Essense" report says "'Strength in serenity' sums up this Summer's color ranges in a nutshell.  This  is certainly not a colorless season - on the contrary, it offers something for everyone in a range from pastels to enormously luminous hues.  But we find highly aesthetic, self-sufficient color series with few discontinuities and contrasts.  Pastels are huge and can also be found in unaccustomed contexts , in purist or sporty segments.  They never come across as naive or tacky.  They are enlivened using metallic accents and occasionally even elevate themselves into spheres of higher elegance.  Summer darks also play an important role.  We find them in the many subdued and cooler themes, while strong, intensive hues consort with more serene nuances or black-white contrasts generally guarantee a contemporary look: regardless of what combination they appear in, they modify every hue and color scale.

This Summer refuses to experiment.  Fortunately, the new yearning for harmony delivers truly convincing and hyper-aesthetic concepts.  Colors never appear garish, fake or out of place, but are rather integrated in an overall concept.  The almost baroque attitude leads to a new self-awareness of color - and to a pleasingly artless look!"

Season No Season Style

It's no secret that the lines have been greatly blurred when it comes to seasonal style in the recent years. Fur has been a popular element on summer bags and small leather goods. Meanwhile, bright acid tones light up the dead of Winter.  3Seven&8 loves that you can collect all of our products and wear them any time of the year.

Opulent, Acidic, and almost Synthetic Yellows for SS15

Electric Daffodil, 3S8's Freesia Pantone choice, is going to be the hottest Summer 2014 trend for handbags in North America.  According to Lineapelle, the leaders in leather good trends worldwide, this trend will be inescapable Summer of 2015.  We chose an electric freesia because as Lineapelle has recently commented for Summer 2015 "Tones are full of light, between acidic and pastel, light and modern, almost synthetic, they look like accents which ignite the neutrals of modernity."

Summer of 15 is Cracked.

Italian concerias offered a limited amount of "craccato" leather to high end New York designers for their Spring/Summer 2014 collections.  The technique of craccato is to spray suede hides with patina and various other finishes with an intention of it cracking and rubbing away with time.  This is a unique way of becoming one with your handbag.  The material on top rubs away slowly where used and the beautiful colors from beneath come out.  This process cannot be imitated.  The forerunners of fashion trending have revealed that this look will be much more prolific and much more extreme in Summer of 2015.  3Seven&8 found this to be perfect as it is evocative of the materials used in Antoni Gaudi's Spanish structures.  Get your ever evolving handbag a year in advance of this high-end concept's fruition.

For Spring of 2014 there were a few opportunities for design houses to use classic patent leather in innovative Pantones.  Luckily, 3Seven&8 used this for our Hemlock tone, Dazzling Mint. For Summer of 2015 this will be inescapable.  Enjoy this trend more than one year early.  It will be available in 12 different styles next month.
